Who We Are
GTA Journal is an independent, fan-run website covering the Grand Theft Auto series — with a current focus on GTA 6 given its upcoming November 19, 2026 release, alongside ongoing coverage of GTA Online and the wider franchise.
The site was built from the ground up by a solo GTA fan who wanted a single, reliable place to track confirmed news, real official screenshots, and community tools — without the clutter, ads, or speculation-as-fact reporting that's common elsewhere.
What We Do
- Report on officially confirmed GTA news — no unverified leaks presented as fact
- Curate real, official screenshots and trailers directly from Rockstar Games
- Build original tools like our interactive Leonida map and geo-guessing game
- Cover GTA Online updates and the broader franchise, not just GTA 6

Every article on GTA Journal is based on information Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive has officially confirmed, or on our own original analysis of that confirmed material. Where something is speculation or community theory, we say so clearly.
